Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate the guests named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

While we love kids, we’ve decided to have an adults-only reception. Thank you for making arrangements.

Please reach out to us if you would like to bring children on Friday. We welcome children at the celebration but have limited space, so we will need to make sure that we can accommodate all invited guests.

For the Ghanaian Welcome Celebration, the attire is traditional attire/cocktail attire.
For the Reception, the attire is formal. For more information and inspiration, please see “Attire” above.

We plan to host all events primarily outdoors, weather willing.

Woodrow Wilson House has no dedicated parking, and Embassy Row has limited street parking.
We kindly ask our reception guests to use rideshare services to and from the venue, and have arranged a Lyft event code for the night for our guests. The code will be shared here and via text after the RSVP deadline.

We are exchanging our vows in an intimate ceremony in the morning, with just our family and wedding party. We are very much looking forward to celebrating with all our family and friends in the evening at Woodrow Wilson House!

DC is very walkable, bikeable, and transit accessible. We also have lots of rideshare options, so you won’t need a car to get around.
A note to those attending Friday’s celebration: the Ghanaian Welcome Celebration is just outside of DC, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. It’s a 25 minute drive from Downtown DC.
